What the COScafe cover letter generator is

The COScafe cover letter generator is a tool that writes a cover letter for one specific job from three sources: your resume, your answers to 32 positioning questions and the job description. The job description is required: without it, a letter is just a retelling of your resume.

How do you write a cover letter people actually read? Don't open with "I am writing to apply for…" — the reader already knows which job you applied for. Start with what the employer does and one provable fact about you, and show the match with examples instead of listing requirements. Our generator follows exactly these rules.

The letter is written directly in English or Ukrainian, not translated. Below it comes a list of "What would make the letter stronger": facts missing from your sources. The model doesn't invent them — it points them out to you.

What you get

01

A letter for the job

The text is built on the requirements in the job description and your real projects — no generic lines that would fit anyone.

02

What to add

A list of what your sources lacked to make the letter stronger. Add it to your answers and generate again.

03

English or Ukrainian

Two buttons, two languages. The English letter isn't a translation of the Ukrainian one: each is written naturally in its own language.

04

A ready .docx

A signed letter that opens in Word or Google Docs. Every letter is kept in your cover letter "History".

It's required. Then choose the language — and the letter is ready as a .docx.

Frequently asked questions

Keep it short, aimed at one job and without repeating your resume: the first sentence is about the employer and your strongest proof, then 2–3 examples that match the job requirements, and finally a readiness to talk. The COScafe generator builds a cover letter exactly this way, from your facts.

Yes, the resume is one of the letter's three sources. Either one generated in COScafe or your own file works: PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, ODT or TXT.

A cover letter only makes sense for a specific job: it explains why you fit this particular employer. Without the description you'd get a retelling of your resume, so this field is required.

English or Ukrainian. The model writes straight in the chosen language by its own rules — no calques and no word-for-word translation. Technology names and job titles stay in English.

No. The letter relies only on your resume, your answers and the job. If something is missing, it shows up in the "What would make the letter stronger" list, not in the letter itself.

The free part of COScafe is the resume assessment. Cover letters are part of the plans: the one-time Starter pack includes one letter, and a subscription or Lifetime has no limit.

Yes. One answer set works across all tools: the answers you gave for your resume are kept in "Your answer sets", and for the letter you just pick it.
